Our Approach
We advocate a multidisciplinary approach to care in a supportive and enjoyable environment, while combining a variety of medical, therapy and health services, which constitute an integral part of medical treatment;
-
Advanced Medical Services as one of its kind in Pediatrics in the Sharon region, we offer a comprehensive range of medical services and advanced health care.
-
The Child and Family as One Unit - we believe that including the family in the treatment process will help achieve the best possible results and therefore we refer to the child and the family as a whole.
-
Enjoyable and Pleasant Treatment Experience - the holistic treatment approach is also reflected in the new Pediatric Wing which was designed upon the concept of “exclusive service” creating a unique ‘travel experience’ for the child and his family, exciting and with shared learning, enjoyment and support during treatment and hospitalization.
-
Therapeutic Relaxation Garden – relaxed children heal faster and the duration of their hospitalization is reduced and therefore the health care center combines relaxation and sports activities. The Therapeutic Relaxation Garden, which will be built at the Children’s Wing is designed to complement the medical treatment and paired with the activities at the Sports Center, to give children a different experience that enhances their healing process and wellbeing. This enhances the integration of the family in the process and to provide a pleasant escape from stressful situations.
-
Comprehensive Response to Developmental Aspects – an institute assigned to child development that provides a range of relevant services, including:
-
Allied health professionals for children who suffer (or are bound to suffer) from a disability and developmental delays. Reformer Gymnastics to improve the functioning of children who show clumsiness or children who completed physical therapy. The hospital also provides Support Groups for parents.
-
Medical Sports Centre for Children and Youth – a leading multi-disciplinary center, which specializes in the study of sports medicine and development of programs to promote health alongside the care and nurturing the health of children and adolescents who suffer from chronic health problems.
-
Dream Doctors - all medical treatments integrate "Dream Doctors" who are qualified Medical Clowns and who accompany children at all stages of treatment and help reduce feelings of anxiety and fear among children and their families.
